Setting an employee working pattern






In TimeKeeper, you can set up a working pattern for an employee. This is a set of expected start and end times on specific days, contractual hours, overtime settings along with a memorable name.

These settings dictate when TimeKeeper will send clock in/out reminders, dictate what days employees are expected to work and can book off on leave, as well as how to calculate overtime correctly.

The default contracted hours is set to 0. This means that all time worked will be counted as regular time.

Alternatively, if you wanted to calculate overtime above 40 hours in a week, you would change the weekly contracted hours to 40 hours and select that they are eligible for overtime above 40 hours in a week.

To set different multipliers for each day of the week, tick 'Specify Overtime Rates Per Day'. You can also set overtime rates which will apply to hours worked at different times of day (Intraday Time Blocks) or after a certain number of hours worked per day (Intraday Hours Blocks).

Below you will see their working hours, which is the scheduled start and end time for each employee on each day. The ticked days are days that this employee is expected to work as well as days they can book off on leave.
