Existing BrightPay Cloud Customer Starting a TimeKeeper Trial

How do I connect Timekeeper to BrightPay if I’m already a BrightPay customer?


If you’re already using BrightPay UK, connecting your account to Timekeeper is super straight forward. There's no need to create a separate Timekeeper login or password. Follow this guide here.




  1. Log into your BrightPay account with your regular login details.


  1. In a new tab, head to https://app.timekeeper.co.uk/login

→ Select 'start a free 14 day trial'.


  1. Select sign up with BrightID

→ You'll then be directed to your BrightPay login (if you've not yet logged in) to confirm the connection, before being directed back to TimeKeeper.


  1. Your Timekeeper trial begins

→ Your TimeKeeper trial has been created automatically using the email linked to your BrightID. A random password will be generated, but a reset link will also be sent so that you can create your own.


  1. Use the TimeKeeper guided set up to configure your settings (optional).


  1. Import or manually add employees.

→ Employees can be selected/deselected for import.

→ Employees must have an email address in BrightPay in order to be imported this way.

→ Manual setup is available for those without email.

→ Employees can be imported at a later time within your TimeKeeper account.


  1. Start using Timekeeper

You can immediately track time, map employees (auto-matched where possible) and export hours to BrightPay (for open pay periods).


Note: This method ensures the same email is used for your BrightPay and TimeKeeper accounts.
