Access & Permissions
In an employee's profile, there is a section called 'Access & Permissions'. In this tab, the level of access & permissions can be delegated to the employee. Below is a breakdown of what each permission means.

Additional Roles (i)
This is where you can select whether an employee is an administrator, a Team Manager or a Manager. To learn more about each role, please see Permission Levels FAQs.

'Can Access the Mobile App'
This permission enables the employee to access the TimeKeeper app on their own mobile device.
'Can Clock in on Mobile'
This permission enables the employee to be able to clock in on their own mobile device.
Note: if the employee doesn't have a clock icon on their mobile app screen, this needs to be toggled on.
'Require GPS on Mobile
Mobile clock ins have GPS co-ordinates by default. If unticked, the GPS location on mobile clock ins for this employee will not be recorded. This means they can clock into a geofenced job regardless of where they are.
Note: To ensure an employee clocks in within the job geofence, please toggle this setting on.
'Can Clock in on Web'
By default employees can log into the web portal and view their timesheet and leave record. If this setting is ticked, they will also see the option to clock in on the web portal dashboard. Web clock ins do not have GPS or facial recognition.
'Require Job on Clock in'
If the main ‘Require Job On Clock In’ setting for the whole account is switched off, and this is switched on, this employee will have to select a job on clock in. If the main ‘Require Job On Clock In’ setting for the whole account is switched on, this employee will still have to select a job on clock in regardless of the individual setting here.
'This employee is a Fire Marshal'
If ticked, this employee will have access to the Roll Call and Who’s In reports.
'Skip Clock In/Clock Out Notifications for this employee'
if the main ‘Forgot clock in/out’ notifications are switched on for the company, you can skip notifications for this employee here.
'Can submit Manual Timesheets'
By default an employee cannot edit their own time entries. If ticked, they are able to both add a new time entry (via the app and web portal) and edit the time or details of an existing time entry.
'Skip Facial Recognition'
By toggling on this setting, Facial Recognition verification can be skipped for this employee.
