Outside the Geofence: Show My Location

In this guide, we explain a bit more about the 'Show My Location' button on the mobile app's clock in screen and how it can help determine if an employee is within or outside of the geofence.


  1. Employee is receiving the error message 'Your current GPS location has been detected outside of geofence allowed for this job', preventing the employee from being able to clock in.




  1. Employee can press on the 'Show My Location' button just above the clock in button.


  1. The green area marks the job and the specified geofence that an employee must be within in order to be able to clock in/clock out. The blue dot is the employees' current location. As you can see, the employee is outside of the geofence and therefore is unable to clock in.
