29. Approving/Declining Employee Leave Requests




Line Managers and administrators can view employee leave requests on the TimeKeeper web portal and app.


Under Leave > Leave Requests, a list will appear with all open leave requests. You can view the information on each leave request, then approve or decline it, with the option to provide a reason for declining.


In the TimeKeeper app, pending requests can be found in the Services section. Tap on a request to view the details, then approve or decline it.


Line managers and administrators who have push notifications enabled in their profiles will receive both an email and a push notification in the app when a new leave request comes through.


Similarly, employees with push notifications enabled will receive both an email and a push notification in the app to inform them when their leave request has been approved or declined, and they can view its status in their app.


You can set a limit for how much notice an employee must give for their leave request, by heading to Account > Settings > Leave Request Notice Period.
